Default Bill to ditch front plate in TX... sign petition..

apparently a bill is being presented to eliminate the front plate in TX. It seems like it may have a good chance too. You can help by signing the petition.
Here it is:

http://www.legis.state.tx.us/BillLoo...81R&Bill=SB561

the bill's author is Mike Jackson. We could write him in support....maybe it'd help.

I also found a petition here:

I doubt it will ever pass. Having a front plate gives law enforcement opportunity to catch you running a light with a camera or to run plates in parking lots for vehicles facing them.

It won't pass, this bill has been brought up 3 years now. There were over 15,000 signatures last year.

Red light cameras only take pics of rear license plates, no intersections with cameras I've seen have the cameras facing the front of the vehicles.

front plates are dumb....we have to have a lighting in the rear so they can see it.. but what about the front? so if you think about it they just want to see the rear

That reads to me the "Plate" refers to a Set of plates or two plates. That if the Gov gave U two, U gotta display two
