Alittle rivalry is great but you better be packing some serious hp to pull it off. Hell, I've thought of doing something similar but too many nasty lsx running the streets who could take my nuts, lol.

Last time at the track there was a few of those new 5.0s. Cant say which one it was I lined up against but he (think he had a manual) did a 12.7xx to my 12.6. Look in my sig...I dont have **** for mods. Feels good that my 10 year old 4 gen still stands out vs new mustangs. Not starting any **** im just stating the facts.

337whp....that is what I was talking about. Not knocking Mustangs as I have owned 6 of them with every possible engine/blower combo out there. My 89' with a 331 stroker (heads/cam) and a Paxton blower was the fastest....high 11 car.

Ran high 11's with my TA exhaust/cam/bolt-on only making 423whp.

I just wanna add more experiences at the track. Last summer in 2000-2500 DA when my car was doing 13.1s I was seeing those new 5.0s doing high 13s. I remember this because it came as a big shock to alot of people seeing those "new big bad 5.0s" only doin 13s. But to show im not bias...iv had the same result lining up against new ss camaros.

I'm just a slow bolt-on car. I was replying to the previous "statement".

No offense but if you are running a 331 with ANY sort of aftermarket heads/cam and intake, with a blower and only getting high 11's, you should have rethought the combo. Stopsign32v on here runs low low low 11's (hopefully a 10 this yr) with a 331 N/A in an SN95. I am not saying you had your car setup to race but you can't say "I had this and this" and act like that is the norm. Fox + 331 (with the right parts, of course the 5.0 aftermarket is ridiculous) + Blower has been a 10 sec. car by many people.

A mid-high 13 second 11 GT is being driven by a complete pile of crap driver. The V6 2011's damn near run those times.

No worries. I'm putting down around 530 at the wheels with very minimal mods.

btw, I'm the guy drooling when you drive by at every C&C

Not trying to offend anyone...that was just my experience with my Mustangs. I think you will find when doing apple to apple comparisons that FBody's and vettes are easier to get the time than Mustangs. However, i will say that I personally have no experience in the 4v Cobras, or the new Shelby's....mine were all older models. My car was built well and the best i got was 11.7's @ around 120.
