Of course it's a good move. He had completely lost the team.

Bad during the season, there was no point to fire him right now. It's not going to make a difference in an already dismal season.

Yes, I'm glad Mr Cupcake is gone, but it was at the wrong time. Who's going to run the defense now?

Should have waited till the end of the season. It's not all Wade's fault, there has to be accountability with the players as well, Wade calls the defense, it's up to the players to execute the play called. Then again, it's on Wade to make sure execution is made during practice and up to gametime, he wasn't doing his job.

I hope Jerry fires himself as well.

I think its a bad move. Now Garrett who can't call a decent offense gets to run defense too!

The question is, is there any room on the canned bus to allow Kubiak to join?

^^ this is a serious thread........

Im with west texas on this one....I mean you have 5 million left in paying the man, demote him to just defense and go from there. Garrett wont be the change they need now and its pointless in the middle of the season.

The problem with that is you can't demote a head coach to a lesser position on the team, per NFL rules.

Normally I would say it is a bad move to fire a head coach during the season, but Wade lost any motivation from the team. He needed to go. They are already the laughing stalk of the NFL. If you keep Wade in Dallas all your doing is ruining the Cowboy's name.

At least Garrett can still try and salvage some what of a season. Basically Jerry Fired Wade because there's nothing left to loose at the point besides money. Which we all know is chump change to Jerry.

The best move the Cowboys could ever make is fire Jerry, unfortunately that's not possible.

Yeah hes a pain in the ***, but hes the richest owner in the NFL that actually spends money. I wouldn't get rid of him. If somehow someone could talk him from stepping down as the GM, they would be fine.
