Question Whats the differance in boxed lca and tube ones.....

Hey guys just wondering what the difference is between the two or is there none, and just how there made.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. My understanding is that boxed lca are non adjustable and cheaper. That's the only difference.

well there are tubular lca's that aren't adjustable either, not sure if their are any performance gains between tubular and boxed though

A tube has more torsional strength at a given size than a boxed. In otherwords, you have more strength with less weight.

boxed control arms can mean control arms made of box tubing but I believe that for the most part the term refers to control arms that have been boxed in by welding a piece of flat stock across the opening of the U shaped stamped factory control arms to add rigidity and keep them from flexing. That's what I use because they work great, I'm a cheap-*** and I like to weld but I'm not good enough to make the whole thing.
