the premier was today and it was great!

The hosts aren't too great but it's alright.

 

Yeah the hosting was boring, they were way to stiff. Also seems like they are trying to hard to copy the original. But its the first episode so can't really judge it to hard because it has potential and that viper was sexy.

 

viper was sick they need to get some good tires on it though...I would love that job!

 

they need a little more comedy

 

It's going to be completely lame compared to the british version. I won't be watching it.

needs more Clarkson! Yes the real Top Gear is still going....The American TG could have been great with other Hosts, can't stand Tanner Faust, though Adam Ferrara is funny bastard, don't know the fat *** with the beard...its too bad they could not get Steve Allen, Leno.... and I thought Adam Corolla was going to be a host? I will give it a chance though...perhaps it will get better as episodes progress..

 

I caught the last few minutes of the show...seemed ok...

This show is a disgrace compared to the original top gear.

 

I definitely think it will get better, a lot of the humor in the British version is the guys making fun of each other which comes from years of doing the show together. The Viper versus the Cobra seemed a little too rehearsed and choreographed.

5.Reasonably priced car was an import? I see no big three influence

And of course the stig.

Why couldnt they make the show thier own? a cookie cutter of the original wont fly.

 

Not a fan. It seemed like the only person that was really a car guy was Tanner Foust, but he kept trying to show off that he was a drifter, and I found it really annoying.

I am not a fan.

 

Oh i see the tech forums are not so pleased with the new season. so i guess most of you still see the british version?

It was horrible, just as I figured it would be. Its Jeremy Clarkson and the co-hosts that make the British Top Gear so great, not just the cars.
