Yank PT4000 Converter
Well lost all gears & did have reverse. But even its going out. When I give it gas its like I have the parking brake on. So going to replace my Trans with a good unit that works
My question is should I sent my converter out to get flushed? Trans fluid smells burnt. Also should I send it back to Yank or is ok to let a local shop Flush my Yank PT4000

If you still have the free restall, I would definitely send it back to Yank for a cut & clean.
If not, you could roll the dice and try to clean it real good but it is worth the $200 + shipping or whatever he charges to go through it. One less thing to worry about.

OK thanks for the answer! I have had trans shop tell me they could do the same thing for what Yank does is why I asked. If I have $1800 in a trans. I dont mind spending the $270 in cost & shipping, But no I dont have my free restall

Call Chris at Circle D. Thats all I use and definetly have it cut and cleaned at least. One of my favorite converter I have ever had was a yank that was rebuilt and restalled by Chris at Circle D.
