I would give 10 bucks for an ugly ***, slow, 98 formula.

59k is low miles? lol!

You'd be lucky to get $7k for it. Sorry dude, but there's nothing "semi-rare" about a '98 Formula.

Forgot to mention my car has NEVER even been in a minor fender bender, and see bad weather less than a handful of times.
you're right, they're all lying to you. ive seen cars like yours go for 20k easy. last one i saw was a 2003 Formula SS that went for about 25. It had the optional 24'' chrome wheels, z28 tips, and the back window had "Rodriguez" in those old school Fraktur letters. It was smoking, not because of engine problems, but because it was a badass and had a problem with authority

Don't forget to apply some NOS stickers, that always jumps the price of an F-body by at least 5K more. So you should be looking at around 30K easy as long as you have the 24" rims mentioned above. You know what just do a straight up trade for a modded Z06.

Would you be happy if someone told you you should get an even trade for a Veyron?

The fact is that you want to sell a 13 year old used car that's old enough to be old and not old enough to be collectible. $6-7k

Hate to give you bad news like most of the others but.....fact is you have a 13 year old f body with low miles for a 98..that it. It isnt worth much more than the other hundreds out there for sale, your just has fewer miles which helps the value a little.

The ****** guy is looking to start a war. I told him what I paid and then took money off for ^^no ws6 hood. Older more miles and 98 PCM.

No clue why I keep getting called names. But it's a real ws6
Hood and real ws6 rims. Never heard of knock off ws6 rims.

Let him post up an ad on Craigslist asking for 20k. It'll give us something to laugh at down the road.

You know nobody has mentioned the one thing I've learned when selling cars. Most people do not have money and they can only pay a little over what the bank will loan them. These cars don't have high loan values, if you have a nice one you have to find someone with cash. Both of the f-bodies that I have bought had been for sale for a long time and had several people try to buy them and they couldn't get enough from the bank.

I was going to bother posting my own thoughts, but this sums it up. Probably won't get over $7k.

Neil (Bizzatch) gave the best answer. 98 is the least desirable LS1 year, and the lowest value. Formulas are rare, but yours isn't any special edition. It isn't worth any more than a Camaro or a T/A of the same year. The WS6/Hawk/SS cars will always bring in a little more.

59K isn't low mileage. It is low for 98, but it isn't "low" mileage. Low mileage would be 10K or under miles, regardless of the year. 59K just means those '98 pushrods and valvesprings are that much closer to failing.

$8-9K tops.

Now quit being a cry baby and getting mad about your car not being worth as much as you dreamed about.
