I have a rare 5.3 Camaro with racing stripes, and TransAm seats for 20k or trade for a hot Toyota Tercel.

A formula is a bit tricky to determine value on. it may be slightly rarer however that doesnt mean its more sought after.

BTW if your car is the Blue Green Chameleon color please PM me i would be interested in purchasing it if we could negotiate a fair price

DFW Fs- 98 NBM Formula, M6, all opts, 59k, bolt-on's
Just like the title says, thinking about selling one of my cars. 1998 pont. formula navy blue metallic, grey leather, all opts minus trac control 59k.Never wrecked; 2nd owner, car was purchased in 2001 from original owner with 32k. M6, B & M shifter, 98-00 polished ws6 wheels, less than 2k on new Irotors front rotors and metal master pads. KB DD weld in sub frames, BMR boxed lower control arms, ws6 lower air box, ported maf ends, lid, holley filter, cut out. Sure I have left some things out. Also car will come with some spare parts(the rear irotors and pads plus fluid ect.) and the 98 2nd edition shop books from GM (all 3). Adult owned, garage kept. Paint and interior are 9 out 10 with only minor flaws. Car doesn't rattle, and is one of the tightest 4th gen f-bods you will find period. In no hurry to sell, will have pics up in the next couple days. Asking $13,300. Thanks
NBM nevermind.

However i would argue that 98's are just as good as any other years, but in terms of collectors value and rarity the only 98's that will EVER be worth any money are the purple ws6's and even then you can find those for cheaper than you are selling yours for

I would never troll a for sale thread with a comment, but since this isn't one: 13,300? I'm glad he isn't in a hurry to sell!

Why do people still think 4th gens are going to be collectible? I guess better question is why do people think they are collectible now?

I 100% agree.

These cars were corporate cookie cutter cars. The option list boiled down to cosmetics. That harldy makes it a candidate for being collectable or rare.

To be completely fair, it worth what ever some idiot will pay for it. Is it a 10K+ car? no... but if you dont think people are stupid enough to over pay for crap just go look at ever thread started by that retardedpenguin kid... has a 6k car for 2 day, throws some bondo on it and sells it for 10k. (not that i buy any of what he says, but most of you seem to).

Damn. Bitch people out for their opinion when you asked for it!
Kelly Blue Book. And after you look it up, drop the price some. Because everyone believes their car is the best, yet, it is not. Special to you doesn't mean **** when you want to sale a vehicle.
