You've got the ticket in your possession so you didn't need to sign acknowledgement. Its an easy ticket to have a lawyer fix though so....yeah its valid, and yes you're going to have to get it fixed.

Plead not guilty if the cop even turns the tickets in, there's a 50% chance he won't because he forgot to get you to sign them.

 

Man Jose just call up Ticket Dan (ticketdan.com)and give him $75. You will have to go to court several months later, but it'll get dismissed. $75 isn't worth the stress.

 

They have you on video, and the nice police officer took good notes after you drove off.

Not signing the ticket means nothing.

Best of luck. If deferred adjudication is not available I would suggest a traffic lawyer to keeps points to a minimum.
