Big Ugly at the dike!

Any other fisherman in here? That's all I do when I'm not dumping money in my car or riding my dirtbike!

I caught this biggen yesterday evening at the dike on my surf rod using dead, whole crab. Been catching um pretty consistent these past few months. This drum must have been 50lbs! Caught and released..

i need to take my sons fishing, just need to find a spot to go and let them try it out and see what its like. i'm sure they would find it fun even if all they catch is little fish.

Nice red! Im hopin to take the boat out this weekend if the water isn't too messed up from all the wind. And geez, I haven't even been to the dike since they re-opened it! Been too long...

Man, i have never even used crab as bate, when i want to catch the big stuff, i usually, go for shark, there a secret to baiting a crab?

Is rather use crab... tear there claws off and pull there shell too... I hook through there leg socket... cast out and hold on lol

Yep the fishing is heating up since the water temp has crept past 70. I've been catching some thick trout at my gf's bayhouse off sportsmans rd. She's got a sweet setup out there with a long pier and big green lights. If ur ever going over the causeway coming into galveston at night and look over to ur right near confederate reef and see some UFO looking green lights, that's where I'm usually fishing! Lol
