got into an accident
got in a little accident saT morning at 12:15a.m. i was on my way home from dropping my girlfriend off at home, and i was going westbound on 518 in pearland when a girl pulled out of buffalo wild wings and stopped in my lane and i slammed on my brakes and smashed into her with my truck. i hit her pretty hard, it was a 09 HHR SS and my opinion is the side impact airbags really saved her from getting any injuries. luckily her and i were both ok, i was worried that she was going to be seriously injured when i ran to check on her. some people say that would have been pissed and gotten out the car yellin but in all honesty i was in my truck and not my car, my truck is not badly damaged and even if it was, my truck can be replaced and not her life or mine. here are some pictures, my truck doesnt look too bad, the drivers side tow hook is bent downward and kinda bent the frame rail a little bit i have a picture of it but i think they should be able to fix that right? i hope so i dont have money to buy a new truck, im still in college.
THIS IS WHERE MY TOW HOOK WENT THROUGH HER DOOR

To the guy that posted DV... man whata pain in the *** you all are. State farm will for sure pay for a setup and an hour pull and possibly an hour or so repair on the left rail. I would 100% make sure you have it setup and measured. Just to be safe--- doesnt look bad though.
As far as DV goes, if the shop does a great job fixing it; 9/10 you end up better than when you went in however in some cases DV is well justified. What shop are you having it fixed at?

As far as DV goes, look up BB value on your truck, wait and see how much the repair is. These are all factors in DV. Just from my guess of BB value and such, DV probably won't be much and not worth the effort.
