I'm not sure your Chevy's bed is any bigger than my "retardedly short bed". It's actualy smaller in most categories. Or, are you refering to another truck you own?
Again, other than hauling a 5th wheel, I really don't see the advantage of having a "long bed" over a "short bed". Long bed trucks look like grandpa trucks.

Dodge:

Nominal Box Size: 6 ft. 3 in.
Length at Floor Tailgate closed: 76.3
Cargo Width: 70.2
Distance Between Wheelhouses: 51.0
Depth: 20.2
Tailgate Opening Width: 60.6

Your truck:

Length at Floor Tailgate closed: 78.7
Width - Wall to Wall: 60.2
Distance Between Wheelhouses: 50.0
Depth: 19.5
The looks thing is personal preference. The ***** compensation was in reference to people who buy these big trucks that have absolutely no use for them.

That 2.5" makes all the difference in the world. I wouldnt be able to close the tailgate with my fourwheeler in the bed which means I cant tow my trailer because the jack would hit the tailgate. My dmax and my z71 are both shortbeds but I rarely use my truck anymore. I use my dad's f350 dually quite a bit because even with a toolbox it still has plenty fo useable bed space. I dont need my truck to be pretty just functional, but I manage to get both in the same package for the most part.

My next truck will be a long bed and most likely a dually since I really like how much better my dads truck tows my fifth wheel or our enclosed trailer in a crosswind even though it has way less power than my dmax did.

On the duramaxs intakes dont do much, best mod for turbo sound is a complete "turboback" exhaust.

Also what kind of mileage are you knocking down with what tune on what tires at what speed? Whatever truck I get will be on 35" MTs, my old dmax would get an honest 17.5 running 75-80 on toyo mts with a mild EFI tune. Figure youre a good source for info since most of the ford sites as you would expect are biased and its hard to read through the BS.

Did the 08s with Nav not come with the backup camera? Some seem to and some dont, I definitely want a backup camera. Also seems the ones with the painted bumpers have the nicer interior, is it some sort of special package? Like this one...

I love my 08, bought it almost a year ago. It just rolled over 80k miles and is issue free. I have the cat and dpf deleted. It runs like a champ with just a cai and a H&S. Last time I checked milage it got 16 going 75 with 4.10 gears on a 250 mile trip with factory 34" tires.

Here is my 06 Duramax, I'm getting about 15 in the city with heavy stop and go traffic on 1960. Been getting 18-19 on the highway running 70-75 and thats doing the math, not the display.

My truck is 100% stock and here is a video of me running a stock 2007 Dodge Cummings:

Here are a few pictures, I do use the truck for more than a ***** extension:

Thanks, I regret selling it every day. To this day I dont know why I really did, I had it for sale not thinking anyone would pay what I was asking and someone did pretty close so I let it go. Stupid move on my part but I wanted a longbed anyway.

For $38,000 I would rather get this, I have had my eye on it..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/07-GM...item51990e21ce

Here's a vid of me whooping a V6 mustang then another of me getting raped by a bad *** neon.. I think the dually would have put up a good fight with the neon, the 3500 has a lot more power than the Ford plus it's not lifted.

That GMC is gorgeous but something like that is way too pretty to use out here. I need to stick with colors that blend in with gravel roads so I don't have to wash it everyday. Whether I keep this one or trade up, I plan on adding either the clear bras on the bottom side or spray on bedliner on some larger fender flares. These backroads aren't very truck friendly.

Yeah, looks sick though. Just make sure you get a truck with a good lift if you go that route.

Didn't realize how good my truck sounded until watching my videos haha.
