Default 408 crank sensor problem HELP!!!

New motor with a 6.0 n 4'' stroke Eagle crank(24x). Car starts & runs but keep getting crank position not verified code. The idle air controller keeps closing all the way once car starts up, so it dies after running for a while. Tried another crank sensor same problem. At start timing is 23 degree, timing stays the same while idle but fuel goes crazy. All verified through H.P. Tuner software. Any help would be appreciated

What code it's setting? Are you actually loosing crank signal? Might just need a crank relearn..

My 408 did the same thing after the first fire up. I just replaced it and moved on.

Check to make sure the wires are not burned or damaged from the headers.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but do you think there might be a possibility the reluctor wheel was installed backwards?

Thanks to all for the help guys. I don't think Eagle would have place the reluctor wheel on backwards. Least I hope not, fingers crossed with that been said. Will run a crank relearn tomorrow evening to see if that helps, if not all good info is greatly appreciated.

DPRock I sell you the whole car for $12500 or if its a big roller Snap On tool box, just leave the money ($7K) in it I'll just take box in all. You get new 408, turbo 400 (3800 Stall) QA1 front/rear with new wheels n tires. Don't be scarrrrred now.

If you were willing to wait I could fix this issue.
There is no one in the DFW area with more experience tuning SpeedDensity.
