I'm with you on that too.. but this is $600 for two tires for 6 passes.

But you have to pay to play.

Car looks good - have fun breaking in the new mile.

Is kelly driving his car this time, or let Josh make a pass or 2 before driving?

Lool forward to seeing the results.

so what I wanna know is this, are the big boys (UGR) coming to this one to set their records? This track now has zero records so the first pass will be the record, etc etc. Just curious is all.

I hope it's a HUGE turnout.

Doubt the shop or any of their big customers will be there running, but not 100% sure. When they were at TX2K11 they said they didn't plan on going back until the 250mph was beat by another car. Plus with Richard's wreck it has a few scared for that same fate (which he was lucky to come out alive). I know SW sold his Supra before the Supra event, so doubt you will see his Lambo there.

Not sure why the "records" would need to be reset. It is a new track, but the timing equipment is still the same, etc...

Powell. New track runs north to south. Old track ran west to east. So only had bad crosswinds never a direct headwind. So expect cars to be slower at beville when running into a direct headwind from now on.

Are you sure about that never a headwind at previous track? I remember a few times there being both head and tail winds as well. It was not just crosswinds. I remember like 2 years ago there were some inflated numbers on even stock cars because of a 10+mph tailwind.

Don't take this is me trying to argue. I just remember a few days where there was a significant headwind and tailwind on others. Either way still the same timing equipment, etc...
