Picked up a 3.5" quicktime cutout the other day and I'm wanting to get it installed this week on my stock exhaust. I know it would have been better if I could have found a 3" but I got this one ridiculously cheap and it was brand new, so I figured I'd pay a little more to get the cutout welded up since it would require a little more work to go from 2.75 to 3 and back down to 2.75. But damn this dude at a shop here in San Marcos just acted like it was impossible and I don't really feel comfortable taking it to him now. So anyone know of a place I should call? And how much would you guys pay?

Just in case someone else stumbles across this forum in the future with the same question:
I called Lethal and they wanted $125 to cut a section out and weld it up (and of course bridge the gap between the 2.75" and 3.5". I called another shop her in San Marcos called Spanky's. They did it for $38 and did a good job in my opinion. I watched them do it, took about half an hour. My only complaint is that I wish someone would have held my exhaust when they were cutting it out instead of letting it bounce up and down (I think the blade was a little dull). But anyway, got the job done and for a very reasonable price.
Sounds sick

Option muffler in SA off HWY 90 deals in cash. I go to them for quick installs/repairs. Never had them do a complete exhaust before, but have never paid a lot or been disappointed with the work. Anyone else ever use them?
