Default Considering buying my old camaro back?

I heard through the grapevine that my old 70 was up for sale and I happened to stumble upon it today. My friend said they wanted like $12,500 for it or something, I sold it for $8,000. Anyways the hood hinges are fucked and the hood dug into the windshield when I opened it and the paint is nasty. There is **** still sitting in the SAME exact place inside the car from when I sold it! Interior and engine bay is nasty, looks like a horse took a **** on it too.

But I regret everyday selling this car and I kinda want to buy it back. It drove great, got 16 mpg city, A/C only needs to be converted and I would trust it anywhere. Anyone ever buy an old car back before? I'm curious if anyone has and regretted it later on.

I'm thinking $6500? **** $12,500, that's more than what I was selling it for with $4k in wheels.

The horse must be a Ford nut swinger

If he's selling it for $12.5, what makes you think he'll take $6.5?

If you sold it to him for 8k why the hell would he sell it to you for $6500? It was a piece of crap before and is still a piece of crap. Just walk away from it.

Thumbs down

I would not buy it back. You already sold it once and it sounds like he didn't care for it. Just let it go.

Alright, I'm not gonna lie I'm heartbroken to see it go to ****. It really wasn't that far off from being perfect, just a lot of little things. Oh well, I got another one just like it so im not missing out on anything. I'm still gonna call out of curiosity though. Pretty cool to see that $400 paint job still looks damn good despite it being mistreated.

The paint itself is fine just has a bunch of gunk on it from sitting under that tree, not to mention the horse ****.

Save your pennies and buy a new Camaro. You will feel so much happier owning a 5th generation, or at the very least a 4th generation.

Buying an old car back is like getting back together with and ex, once you take it for a ride you're going to regret it. WALK AWAY! Remember, you sold it for a reason.

Lol, yes, there is no longer a passenger side hump in the 5th gen. I never rode passenger side in my car, 'cause I always drove it, but I know all my passengers, that was the first thing they complained about.

Maybe its just my opinion, but a car with a $400 dollar paint job is a long ways from being perfect the day it left the paint booth, let alone today

I work in paint and body so I just pay supplies.

And I had forged 18's on there back in the day, still have them on my TA. Car looked sick with them.

nothing wrong with taking an ex for a ride, just don't take her back after the ride
