Default NW Houston FFL Transfer?

Need to get a gun shipped from Buds Guns to here.

Not looking to pay the **** raping price like some charge.

$10.00 is what a normal individual charges.

Let me know.

Have you looked at Bud's list of preferred FFL's? no need to fax anything, should already have all the info required for transfer. Also lists their prices.

Have you looked at Davidson's Inc/ GalleryofGuns.com? Prices are comparable to Buds plus they offer a lifetime warranty with any firearm they distribute. Cant beat that!

I just got a shotgun off of Gallery of Guns and it was about 10 bucks cheaper than Buds and they give you a list of FFLs closest to you with their out the door price.

GalleryofGuns.com was more then buds.

I ordered today and ya there was a list. Paid $15 for FFL would have been $10 had I have my chl card but that takes awhile to come in the mail.

Talked to one guy and he said he preferred to do it for free but the gubment makes them charge a min of $10.00.

I have heard some as much as $35-$50 which is dumb and a rip off.

I've never had to deal with a FFL transfer but if the government is charging the person $10.00 why would that person do the paper work for free? I'm sure he had pay for his license to be a dealer.

Maybe I'm wrong but to me $5.00 is not worth the hassle of filling out the papers and liability of shipping a gun.

I don't have a issue paying the fee of $10-$15. What I was saying was $25-$35 which is what alot of gun shops charge are dumb. They are not charging him $10.00 that's just the min he can charge. He pays a Lin fee to have a FFL

Private Party to Private Party sale has no ""tracked"" paper work. I sold the 9mm and the ATF has one form that has little info for both party's. Talked to a guy I worked with and he has never used a form to sell or buy guns from private owners. So there never reg in his name.....

in texas you can do a face to face. it's legal. Only issue is if the gun ever gets used in a crime and it was in your name you might have an issue.... At least to a BOS.
