GM's 5yr/100,000 mile warranty question does GM cover an ac compressor if it makes a "rattling" under the 5yr/100,000 mile warranty. my girlfriend has a 09 pontiac g6 and when at idle in gear. anyways ac cools fine it's just annoying more than anything. if someone could let me know, thanks.

nah i dont think so. it has 635xx on it right now. she just bought it used, and to be honest i actually like it, im 6'2" and i fit very well in it and it gets about 20mpg in the city, other then the compressor making some noise it's a pretty nice car. it has onstar(kinda lame) sat radio remote start and all that.

If she bought it from a Chevy/GM dealer, take it to the service writer and see what he/she can do. The dealer has customer loyalty programs they can use. My wife is on a first name basis with our local dealers service team, they always go out of their way to help her.

Its the 4 cylinder and nah it was bought from a private lot. Im gonna go to the library tomorrow and get on alldata and see if there are any TSB's about it.
