Paint it or leave it? 71 Chevelle...

Paint it or leave it? 71 Chevelle... It's like a purplish dark red, didn't like it at first but it's really growing on me. Keep it or change it to black? It was originally that bright Acapulco blue though. My 18 inch Rushforths are going on it. I just don't want to paint it and then have overspray and **** everywhere like usual. Curious what you guys think of it, it's going to be a daily driver.

i'd paint it, but i think i would rather have it silver with black stripes... i had a '71 ss back in high school, man i should have kept that car but i was young and stupid lol... plus at the time i couldn't really afford to fix it up

Looked like complete *** but it took me anywhere I needed to go, I would beat the **** out of it because well, it didn't matter. This car I am going to have to baby though, the only hiccup is..... Get this, it has an Acura Legend interior.

I had a 70 and it was definitely one of the more fun vehicles I have owned driver wise.
Looked like complete *** but it took me anywhere I needed to go, I would beat the **** out of it because well, it didn't matter. This car I am going to have to baby though, the only hiccup is..... Get this, it has an Acura Legend interior.

leave it, but definitely change out the interior.
also, dont you dare throw those donk *** rims on that chevelle. so help me, i will drive down there. you need a nice set of ss wheels

wow, you weren't lying lol... i wonder what possessed them to do that?... i'd go for ss interior... if i remember correctly the malibu had a bench seat and the ss was split seats with a center console... i like the rims on it right now, maybe strip the paint and repolish them would look better imo

Then I think your getting the **** end of that deal IMO.
Your TA is worth more..
That Chevelle books for 8k 9k but with that **** interior it's worth even less IMO..
Edit: I went up a little more the body looks pretty good
What motor does it have?

It's gonna be my 19th birthday present to myself lol..
They looked pretty good on my other cars, a chevelle is a bigger body though so I am not sure how they will look on it. They stuck out way too much on my 02 SS though..

.. Thinking a twin turbo 6.0... 
I did have the awesome idea of yanking the ls1/auto out of my 98 WS6 though. I've done the LQ4 swap twice already, first time took 8 months and was a failure, second time around took a week of part time work and it runs fine. I can knock it down quick now.
