If you have to ask someone this then should I say it? Heres your quote..."I would speculate you have no idea what is going on".

Its the same thing as the illegals who are in our school system. They soak up the tax money that should be used on our own tax paying citizens.

Honestly I think your just playing dumb and your getting a kick out of asking stupid questions. Theres no way anyone with a legit business can be seriously asking these kinds of questions or not understand how government intervention only makes business suffer. Good luck

I am asking these questions because you are prompting them with your rationalizations. The reason you can't explain it is because there is no logical connection.

Your conversation as a whole has been a demonstration of what happens when somebody puts their partisan ideological agenda above productive problem solving discussions. It is one of the main reasons why Americans cannot act effectively to stop the corruption that has paralyzed the country.

It is when we can put down our partisan prejudice and look at each issue with clear eyes that we can begin to repair this mess.

Yes, for the most part. Go hang out at Parkland's ER or any ER of your choice and your local health department. Then come talk to me.

It doesn't affect insurance as much as it does healthcare costs in general.

Here are a few articles to show you what I am talking about.....

Illegal Aliens are likely not covered by health insurance. Not likely to be in their budget to have health insurance.

If you are saying they have an effect on our healthcare costs overall, then yes.

My point is, they are going to the ER getting services and never paying the bill. The hospitals are then raising the cost of services for the rest of us and really overcharging the insurance company to cover their loss. Just ask sometime what the cash price is vs. the insurance price. I think you'll be surprised. This is one of the major reasons healthcare and insurance costs are so expensive.

That was one of the original discussions in this thread. All of the irresponsible people out there without health insurance running the cost up. That is why I am for the mandatory coverage. However, illegal aliens are a very small percentage compared to the amount of citizens that are uninsured. And, of those, the ones that really **** me off are the ones who chose willingly to have no coverage while they fight healthcare reform and their personal responsibility. These scam artists dirt bags are the first ones to show up at the hospital with no health insurance and stick the responsible people with the bill.

I agree but Obamacare is not the solution. Getting government out of the way will lower healthcare significantly. Taking the regulation off of it would help, if the gubbment would make it where we can purchase a policy outside of Texas and generate some more competition, prices would go down. There are a laundry list of things to make the prices fall but the insurance companies lobbyists and the politicians they bank roll keep that from happening.

What specifically do you think the government is currently doing that is raising insurance cost?

I think this would help too, but the problem here is with the court systems I think. Litigation between states is very expensive compared to litigation within a state. So if you, me or any other citizen has to take legal action against the insurance company, it would put them at an even greater financial and legal disadvantage.
