Default Anyone run KDW tires?

I just had my second blow out in one, sidewall ripped open. Anyone else had issues with these? It looks like there isn't even any support in the wall, just rubber and nothing else.

Thank God for that warranty.

Look up the date stamp on the inner sidewall. Sounds like you got some old stock in there. I had a set of the kd & kdw tires and never had one issue with them. Too bad they are now discontinued.

They were bad *** tires when I had them on my camaro. Either the sidewall was cut from rubbing, or you had some old tires.

I know the first one was from rubbing, but this one just let go for no reason. They have been sitting but not more than like a year. The one that popped actually was a brand new tire with 0 miles on it until it went on the cheville, it was replaced then put right in storage.

Are you talking about the kdw2's? If so, that makes me nervous. Right now i have GSD3's, but they are getting low on tread. I was looking at getting the kdw2's because they are also pretty wide.

Good tire, I put alot of miles on them and they seem to get noisy sooner than other tires.

Are these the all season ones or the performance ones? I never liked the performance ones cause they are loud as f*** and dont last very long even if your holding back and are shitty in the rain. Never owned the other ones.

I had 315/35/17 on my camaro and 245/45/17 on the fronts. They do run wide but are great tires. No noise and lasted a while with my heavy foot and 6 speed.

Anyone know if the KDW2's run just as wide as the GSD3's? Or are they a little narrower?

they probably committed suicide since you install and uninstall them "forged wheels" on every car you buy...

I run KDW's on the front of my '99 Z28. Was a weekend car but back on DD duties since July and I've had zero problems with them.

What do y'all mean by noise?

And they are great tires, nice in the rain too. Having the stock tires on the back is fun though since I can spin the tires like no tomorrow.

I paid $3k for those wheels, I'm gonna get my money's worth and put them on any car I want. I don't see why your panties are wadding up.
