So it's "good" to put him in a car with similar power and less handling capabilities? Woooookay!
Too bad they weren't both banned from driving for a couple years, till some common sense might join them in life.

Were it not for 2 drivers attempting to race, the "worse" driver might've left the road and crashed into some trees, but he wouldn't at all likely have hit the other car in the process of his crash. 2 drivers... GUILTY of being idiots, allowed to waste the air purposeful people could be using. I don't want them dead. I only wish they weren't such incompetent and obviously stupid people. I probably WOULD like to see them getting a couple front teeth removed by a swift kick or punch to the face by someone like Chuck Lid... er.. NORRIS!

Each driver is at fault because each was engaging in the illegal activity of street racing and THAT is actually what led to their crash.

I agree that the guy in the C6 kept his car straight but he could have avoided being hit. He saw the C5 loosing control, he hit his brakes and for some unknown reason, continued forward. I would have let that idiot in the C5 continue on out of control. It would have been the C5 in the forest instead of the C6.

I'm not crazy about street racing, and I think guys should take it to the track.
Then again, I'm against snitches and rats, such as people who post things like this on the web. It isn't about the person, but it's about the hypocrisy, as if the gum smacker who posted video this hasn't street raced before. I just hope that someone one day posts a video of the gum smacker street racing, but hopefully he won't have a wreck, but he'll spend some time in the joint.
I have a video of a guy who was racing against me at RPR. Dude had a supercharged car and couldn't handle the car. I was ahead of him by a couple of lengths when his car went from the left lane all the way across the track and hit the right hand wall, facing toward the staging lanes. Now, I could be Mr. Cool and post this video, but I realize this could get the driver into trouble or there are other reasons I won't post the video. Another reason is even though I don't know the guy, I don't want to post a video that would be embarrassing to him. It's about discretion. It's also about something like that could happen to me, and I wouldn't want a video posted for everybody to see.
When making passes at the track, during prep, I always either remove my license plates or change them to another license plate.

If you had kids (I dont know if you do or not...) and they got in trouble for street racing in a scenario similar to this one, would you punish them or brush it off because you used to do it?
