I sorta laugh every time the camera focuses on Mario standing on the sidelines. He doesn't look very confident or motivated, even when we are winning. Sorta looks sad, maybe because he realizes that his presence isn't really needed. I agree, great talent, but overpaid for his play. Barwin is kicking *** on a budget, and is usually around the key plays being made. I'd be fine trading off Mario to unlock some cash for some fresh talent elsewhere on the team, starting with #25's position.

I was bored yesterday and started thinking about our Houston past sports history and championships. There is some what of a pattern.

Almost every 5 years a Houston team wins a championship or gets there

94-95 Houston Rockets

2000- Was the last year the Comets won a championship

2005- The Astros Got to the World Series

2006-2007- Houston Dynamo Wins the MLS Cup

2011- Dynamo goes again to the Championship

2011-2012? Houston TEXANS TIME!!! ......

I found that kind of weired but cool how there is somewhat of a pattern... What yah think?

Ive been to lots of Aeros games... going all the way back to when they played in the Summit, they are fun as hell. Especially if you go on a night when they are playing rivals (Las Vegas comes to mind) as there are usually more penalties.

I've only been to one and I believe it was the last year of the Summit. I had 2nd row center ice seats behind the benches (I think I bought them off of ls1tech here in the Texas section). There were 3 fights (2 we won, 1 was a tie). The game had a penalty shot and we won. It was like the perfect hockey game to see.

I used to go a lot back in high school, when it was cheap to buy a nosebleed seat but move down because there was no way that place was selling out. Ive only seen them one time at the new place and it was right in the corner.... there was some pretty good fights that night.

Now back to the Texans!!!!

man could you imagine if we didnt have so many season ending injuries, we would be much more of a threat, i mainly want johnson to be healthy, we are going to need him WHEN we are in the playoffs. i dont see anyreason for us not to be in the afc championship game. as long as yates does what he did against the falcons we will be just fine.
