Not really into the drag racing scene yet I just wanna have the power there in case I need it seeming that all the new v8s are coming out with over 400 hp

It's my daily... I've never taken it to the trAck... What the difference in a big cam to a small cam drivability wise??? What can I expect ti change??

Well it's important but not that important as long as I can get from point a to point b.... From Laredo to San Antonio things like that

When heads are off the car sometimes they re-surface the head to have a flat surface, which lowers your PTV(piston to valve clearance) basically if they have been milled and you put in a large cam without flycutting the pistons the valves will hit the pistons causing damage.

I don't know why people think the ms3/4 is horrible to drive around with on a stalled car. Seriously it is not that bad its only bad if your tuner sucks. If you want sound it is perfect, and if you want to spray the car later these cams work on the bottle as well. Just get a good set of double springs and go for it. It will sound mean and make good power.

ur from laredo????? i would say ms3 will be good man...i got a friend that has a camaro running the ms3 cam with stock heads same year as yours for years and he never has problems with it...i got friends running heads n ms3 cam tuned by pat g and there cars r running great and noticed the difference on the gas mileage then before....drivabilty depends on the tuner too...

ill would go with a 3600 converter with the ms3 cam u will need a ls6 intake tho..

Futral f-13 or f-14 cam. There's a reason they don't have a new cam out every 6 months.

that's what I'm wanting once I upgrade from my mti b1 cam.

not sure which will be better though f13 or f14

f14 specs almost same as the torquer v2 but im sure they got there differances on power

So after about 12 hours or reading and watching videos I've decided to go with a ms3 cam with ls6 intake and heads... 4kstall and some gears...

Now why the cam is out of the way how do I go about choosing gears???

hes a mechanic/tuner in victoria tx....he does awesome work...u should get ur car tuned by him
