Default *Edited* Ran a 2007 s/c saleen.....

Are those things that quick? I keep reading high 12s but we went from a 30 roll and he was next to me to 120.

Edit* He is running 9 lbs of boost. guess that would explain it now?

that's probably why... if it's the car in your sig there isn't a lot of difference between high and mid 12's so going from a roll instead of a dig will probably be to his advantage if it's a manual car... plus you have to factor in all of the other variables... it's not like you were in a 10 sec car and wonder why you didn't walk him

Maybe ur new car is just weak??? Ive raced several bone stock shelbys from a roll on a full bolt on 01 and got the jump about a car and then they pull about 2 cars or so.

that too... or by h/c it could be 243s and an ls6 cam for all we know... you made that statement as if everyone here knows you and your car... you're gonna have to give a lot more info before anyone can steer you in the right direction

Yea you might have heads and cam but it could be a terrible setup... good setups equals to good power. It all depends what type of setup you have.

I doubt there is anything wrong with your setup, that car in stock form makes 435HP/420TQ. From a roll he going to hang in there. With H/C and stall... I bet you rape him from a dig....

His new car probably has around 410/400 with a modest stall.

You either need to run from a dig or go faster than 120mph.

that's a good looking car... maybe it isn't tuned properly... do you have any dyno sheets or numbers from the previous owner?

not that impressive. ive been neck and neck with one of those and ended up losing by half a car back before the stall and suspension. they're just a tad faster than the gt's

Call it what u want... i used to run 13.0 bone stock with cheap tires on a paper filter... maybe its not my car maybes its the drivers in the shelbys **** if i kno im just talking from the experiences ive had against them. They would get murdered from a dig run.

Id say 03/04 cobras are faster... ive been beat pretty damn bad by several barely beat a couple that had ok drivers. Ive always thought the newer style shelbys were slower
