Yes, definately one of my favorite cars. She looks awesome in the sun. As for it making lower numbers, every dyno is different and when we tune cars we do not ship them on the edge. Our customers usually RACE there cars so we have to make sure they are safe when they leave the shop.

So the 654 pull was a more aggressive tune than it left the shop with?

You can add more timing on the dyno and get a nice number. Street conditions change. Been there many times.

I don't understand why this would be done. That would be like me spraying a 400 shot of nitrous on the dyno once and saying my car is 768hp, when I drive it around at 368hp. Doesn't make sense. I do understand about dyno differences and atmospheric differences but that's a pretty significant difference.

Lets see I wanted to make 900 rwhp on my car. Just because I was at 872. So I added 1 degree of timing at boom 905 rwhp. Did I really need the 900? well thats up to me but at the time we were doing it we said go for it. I leave my car at 17 and know there is more in it and I feel it is safe. And I have seen dynojets be really close and some really off. LOL Just my .02
