Its worth whatever someone is willing to pay and you are willing to accept...haha.

To me, I would offer you around 10k for the car and not pay over $12k. But, I think a fair starting price for that car is around $15k IMO.

Right now, probably not much. I am not getting ANY bites on my 93 Formula and I feel that I am priced dirt cheap. Just no one seems to be buying.

Add half of what the motor is worth to the price of the shell, plus half of what you paid to get the trans built and you have your asking price

So the roller in good shape, $4k
Engine cost what $5k so add 2500
Trans was like $2k so add a grand

So your bottom dollar $7500, however if your car is in good shape with a cared for interior and exterior you should ask $10k

I would ask 10. But nobody seems to want to pay anything for these anymore. Pretty much impossible to get a loan on and not many people have that kind of money sitting around.

if the body is solid, good paint and tires, looks well taken care of i would say start at 11,000 and bottom at 7500.

You're smoking the good stuff.

I'd say you would be lucky to get over 8500. These cars don't hold their value with a few exceptions

Ok, I actually have the same question and rather than start a new thread, I shall hijack this one. So, what do you think mine is worth?

1993 Formula. 128K miles, 6 speed, cold A/C, leather, short throw, strut brace, new clutch, new master/slave. Problems include some cracking on the dash, a torn drivers seat, the window motors, slightly fading clear coat, needs a front end alignment.

as cheap as LS cars are now days, Id take 2500 and be happy... Honestly, that car has nothing going for it but the tranny... no rims, no TA body, bad interior and green... only color worse than green is brown, and I dont think they came in brown...

That is exactly what I was figuring. Got it at $2700 right now and barely any response.

Perfect, actually.

If it's listed on craigslist put that it has 200 MPH wheels, gets 20MPG at 100 MPH and has an overhead cam LT4 engine that only came in 10% of firebirds! (that's the kind of craigslist gold we have been reading for the past few days lol)

Car is worth 10k, you may have to list it for awhile. Older cars are harder to get loans for, so either stick it out or keep it and down the road it will eventually become classic and sell for even more.

I'd keep the car.

Usually about the only way to get 10 grand out of it quickly is to part it out. So you could trade your drive train for someone's stock drive train and $3500 or so. Then sell the car for $6500 or so, or just straight part it out.

Chad (HellBentSS) was faced with that with his SS that had far more invested in it but had to end up letting it go for 9300, then I thought about selling mine but I won't get **** for it so I decided to keep it.
