Ls1Tech long timers where are you?

I got rid of that picture, but I currently have six 4th gen Camaros. Yes, it's the source of much ribbing around the local scene. 3 are blown, 1 is H/C turbo 400 conversion etc. , one is NA stroker motor - but will have spray again, and one is just max bolt-ons. I also have a Silverado VHO for a parts runner and tow vehicle.

Yeah thanks, but like you said there have been a lot of nice rides from ppl in this thread.

Getting my 10-year member badge next year, so I guess I could be considered a longtimer...
Never was much of a poster to increase my post count, never much into the meet/cruise/street racing scene, never had a big ole' huge build project/s, just some basic bolt-on equipped F-bodies I enjoyed using as daily drivers. Hence I'm sure most people don't even recognize me.
Still visit here a few times a day, mostly just looking some deals in the FS section. Done business with quite a few members during the years.

I've been a member here for 10 years come next month ... Long before I ever owned a LS powered vehicle.
The changes spoken/reflected about in this thread are pretty normal for any site. People who were interested in things related to place lose interest. Those that didn't have interest in this, say 6 years back (lots of reformed ricers have American V8's now a days) now have interest. It's just how life goes.

Many of these posts nowadays are rather...dumb but it's expected when any 16 year old can purchase one by working part time or there parents can buy them an used F car on the cheap. I visit still about 3 days a week buts it's short and usually in the classifieds.
I sold my 00 SS and 85 Iroc but kept my 00 T/A, like many on here, I got married and we had a kiddo so the Trans Am took a backseat. I kept it stockish over all the years I have owned it because my others were modded so no need to mess with it. Now that they are all gone and I now have a truck and car, I may mess with it now since I have only put on 62 miles this year and about 100miles in the last 2 years and 58 miles were on a cruise in January with 50 other LS cars.
Think about it this way...some of these "kids" that own these F-cars now may be dumb, but didn't people our current ages(I'm 32 now)look at us the same way once too? I can't say anything about the "know it alls" as they will probably always be that way but hey, we can't all be as cool as them.
I forgot my original password for my 1st screen name, I joined up in 2004. Still with all the douches out there, lame posts and sarcastic replies, LS1tech is still a great site

What ever vehicle you grow with is what you tend to stick with far as sites go, Corvette forums seems to be the only difference in that it encompasses several generations of Corvettes up to the current C6 cars. I still like 4th gens as much as when I joined, but it's the same way I like fox bodies. Nice and fast ones get my attention, but for the most part the average car is junk.
