What ever vehicle you grow with is what you tend to stick with far as sites go, Corvette forums seems to be the only difference in that it encompasses several generations of Corvettes up to the current C6 cars. I still like 4th gens as much as when I joined, but it's the same way I like fox bodies. Nice and fast ones get my attention, but for the most part the average car is junk.

Tiff and Brian are married and have a kiddo now.
Tit Bar aka Chris has a Sports Medicine Clinic by Baybrook Mall area. I talk to him from time to time on FB or if I run into him.
Modsquad = Marc has been working and enjoying life.
PaiN = Larry and his family are doing very good. He stopped by the shop a few months back. I hadn't seen him in years. He lives by where I make test passes so him and his pops (if he's over) will hear me out and I'll have a message on FB double checking if it was us LOL!
ULUZ = John has been doing well same with his family. I know he still has the old C5 Z06 and still cannot shift a 6speed to save his life! (LOL!!! I had to).
Others I am not sure. I have a bunch of our old school members on my FB. A lot of them have known me between the age of 16 till 28 now. So they've watched me "grow up" ok maybe change a tiny bit LOL!

Even though my join date says 2004, I have been on here since 2001. Not sure where three years went, but oh well. During the early years, I learned a ton about 4th gens and the LSX motors. There were a lot more members that really knew what they were talking about and put their knowledge to the test at the track and testing new parts as they came out.
Early on, I met John Campbell (went by Raughammer??) who had a very fast Camaro. I met Brian "Brains" at HRP when he got into the 11's and was promptly told no more runs!. I even bought some parts from him - great guy. Nineball Tony was the soul of this board and I think a lot of what made it great disappeared after it was sold to IB. But, it was probably time and I can't blame him for cashing in.
I will says this, despite the degradation in some of the quality posts and disappearance of some long-time members, this board still is one of the best, if not the best, for hands-on experience and knowledge about these cars. My buddy has a 2007 Mustang and most, if not all, of the Mustang boards lack having members that actually work on their cars. Try finding threads about cams or header installs on the Mustang boards and compare that with what you'll find here. The same goes for the Mopar boards, like Challenger Talk. Most threads are about rims and accessaries. I still find important knowledge on this board when I need it.

Good to see all of you! Some of those usernames I've not seen in years. Welcome back, even if for a short visit.
These days, I rarely venture out of the Texas forum. Because Texas rules. I don't really lurk, because lurking is played out. I prefer to creep, because creeping is the "in" thing to do now.
Oh, and I'm mostly here to make fun of the Dallas Cowboys. Some things never change.
If this site is still around in another 10 years, there will be a lot of 20 year members here asking for parts to restore the 4th gens that we ragged/whored out. I can foresee a popular restoration market for them in another 10-20 years. They were (are) too popular to say otherwise.

I come and go through here looking at the threads of late and miss the great knowledge and conversations that were present in this section in the past.
Those that do post here now hardly have any post counts and all the guys from 10,9,8,7,6,5,4 years ago have disappeared. It seems as though Jr. high season is open here now.

I'm still around. Relocated to southeast Texas but I still check the Texas section almost daily. I have gone through a couple vettes, a C4 & a C6. I still have my SS, although it spends most of its time in the garage. Sam Miller put a speed density tune on it just before I moved down here. Made 420 at the rear wheels running the same cam only set I've been running since 2004.

I have been a "creeper" since 2001. It took me a while to register, and I haven't been around for about three years. Hell most of y'all probably have no clue who I am since the Longview scene is nothing compaired to dfw or Houston but I have run into several of the old timers since I have been a part of the community.
I remember when the dirty 30 wasn't on jack stands if that says anything....
