Default Recommendations for Import Shop in Austin

I have searched and found many threads about shops in Austin for LS vehicles. I am trying to help my uncle find a shop for his car. He has a 91 Nissan 300ZX twin turbo. It is relatively low miles. It has been his toy so he doesn't drive it every day.

He has typically had it worked on by Courtesy Nissan in Dallas which is pretty well known for their expertise with those cars. He has the car in Austin now and it is having some problems. He thinks it is with the turbo or intake. He is concerned about trying to drive it to Dallas and doing more damage en route. He is trying to find a dealer, performance shop, or repair shop that is familiar with the z cars and does good work.

I was hoping some of the Austin area guys on here might know of some places.

I would suggest you check out Austin Z Clinic on Roxie Drive in NW Austin. I cannot vouch for them personally as I am not into Z cars, but just suggest you look into them. Go by and check out the shop, talk to the manager and see what kind of vibe you get. I live in that part of town and drive past fairly regularly. They seem to have been in business a very long time.

If you want input on the other shops mentioned, we can take it to PM's.

Friend used them over 10+ years ago iirc. AFAIK the work they did was good.
