Anyone know anything about body wraps?
Can't afford to paint my car right now and I was wondering as this for an alternative, my only question is my car has clear coat issues and I'm not going to paint my daily driver because people are ******** and ruin everything, does the wrap stick well to peeling clear coat? I would think it wouldn't but I don't know anything about the stuff, any help?

Yeah, I think you'd be paying as much, or most likely even more, for a wrap than just a cheapo paint job at MAACO, or some other cheap shop.
I've seen plenty of shops advertise on Craigslist paint jobs for under 500 bucks.
Or, as Tweek said, just get a few cans of Plastidip and get spraying. It'll look like ****, IMO, but at least it is somewhat uniform, if that's what you are after.

I have nothing to add to cost benefit or ability of a wrap to stick to a surface that is peeling. However, I would go against to grain and lean towards a wrap before a cheap paint job. Cheap paint jobs overspray on everything and mess up all kinds of stuff. Everytime I see a cheap paint job with pain on the muffler, under the hood, window trim, etc it makes me cringe. A wrap won't do that.
