Default Late Model Racecraft LT1 Cylinder Head CNC Program Underway!

We have received our LT1 castings from GM and have already flowed/torn down and started grinding on them. Overall we should have numbers very soon.

Our before numbers were as follows:

Was flowed on a 4.060 bore at 28" of water with a Untouched port and valve job.

lift Intake Exhaust
.200 134 120
.300 204 164
.400 258 193
.500 291 204
.600 285 208
.650 291 210

And now for some pictures

And now the fun part begins!

Roughed in Exhaust port

In for results! Looks promising. Could be wrong but looks like there is plenty of room for grinding.

Our C7 is scheduled to arrive end of august or sometime in September. We should have quite a few prototype parts to install the day she arrives for testing. Then the twin turbo system R&D begins.

Still mildly excited to see final results.

We did break through, and that has been addressed already. The stock intake valve is a 2.140" valve and looks like it has enough guide spacing for quite a bit bigger valve.

Thats what I was thinking yesterday.

Check again, it was posted right before you made your post.

And as for your "I doubt they would tell any info they barely tell us the ci of the set ups they build." comment, If you spent your time and money designing something would you give it away for free?

I didn't mean it to sound like it was criticism, it is development work. It happens.

I'm looking at the pics and keep finding all kinds of weird changes. The valves have been flipped around and now the spark plug is angled at the intake valve. That's a big deal.

The pictures alone are very revealing if you know what you're looking at. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. They're not giving away too much, but I'd say they're being very generous with what they've posted so far.
