Anyone ever use this shop before? They are off of Fairbanks North Houston by the horse track. Any reviews would be great.

KP tuned my boosted Viper.

 

My cousin is not to happy with his new tremec in his his coyote. They have "tried" to fix it but still crappy.

 

They did a bench tune on my car and a dyno tune on my brothers car. They did a great job on both. Need to get mine in to them and on the rollers.

I got to drive the car this past Sunday night, yea that nasty sound it's making is no Bueno and for a new setup like that and the price! Smh

 

Where did the trans come from? Did they (KP) build it,order it built,customer supply it? Why was it changed in the first place?

 

The mt-82 6speed Ford puts in the GT and Boss is garbage.

 

Top notch staff?? Are you kidding?? Bunch of crooks.They stole tens of thousands.I'm sure this will be deleted in no time though.

 

 

Like said before, most MT-82 trannys are crap. Kp put in a new t56 magnum XL and a McLeod twin disk.. Needless to say things may have gotten worse and the car makes a very nasty sound and has trouble going into gear, my friend was told that's normal.

 

from who you? Cause i havent heard anything like that. now there have been some bad things said but 90% of the time its good things...but every shop will have complaints about something there always will be no matter whos shop it is. but i do know a couple of the guys that work there and they are no way by any means crooks..

most of the time kp just installs and tunes they usually have stuff built by outside vendors

 

I like Joe and Amber, but a lot of people are referring to their past at t56rebuilds and sixspeeds inc. If you don't know what it is then do a search.

I am under the impression they paid everyone back tho? Correct me if I am wrong?

 

They paid the people who had judgements against them. They didn't pay everyone who they ripped off. You can't rip off a bunch of people and then years later pay some of them back and think its ok. If you search there are plenty of post on multiple forums about them. It's hard to believe people would support them after knowing they ripped off countless people. If josh from ky turbo paid a few people back and opened a new shop would you send him money too?

The coyote mt-82 is trash like stated above. My cousin paid thousands of dollars to get a tremec tr6060 ordered and installed by KPracing. Cash was given to KP to order what was needed and installed. I think they said they went thru D&D trans for the tremec. Tune seems to be off too cause he has gone through 2 o2 sensors in the past 3 months or so with their tune. Car is going back to KP tomorrow for the last and final time if it does not come out the way it should and if they cannot prove it was D&D fault. The fluids in the tranny were super burnt n black just an fyi. Hope they can get everything settled so that we can continue to be costumers.
