His name is Tamar, Houston member of the V Club. I met him summer of last year, and he was a very nice and level headed guy. He was a music teacher, married with 2 young daughters.
I am not sure exactly what happened with the wreck. He was not ejected from the car, police found him pinned inside. He had to have been moving at a pretty good split a power pole like that, but I do think that the weaving in and out of traffic was a bit of an embellishment on the part of witnesses.
This serves as a serious reminder to all of us, because I know most of if not all of you like me are guilty of playing with speed. We must be careful how and when we decide to put the go pedal to the floor and have ourselves a speed rush.
Black guy in the green shirt is Tamar...his silver V is behind me (white shirt and tattoos).

As of right now, no words on whether alcohol was a fact.
He was wearing a seat beat...Fire/Rescue and Police found him in the car, despite what the report says. Also, there was nothing in the way of traffic...the news story contains a lot of wrong information. This is coming from a person that knows what of the Fire Fighters that responded to the accident.

the only thing you can believe the from what the media reports is the live video or pictures and that's about it. almost everything they say they twisted to make it sound better or they don't really know what happened but they think they know what happened so they report... RIP
center point guy told me one time to bust a power pole like that you must be doing around ~100mph give or take some obviously depends on what kind of car and how wide the power pole is.
