Anyone out there know of a shop to get a tune at in or near Austin TX? I currently go to newera performance in Rochester NY and want to stay with the excellent service.
Also, is there a drag strip near by?

SAR is a 60 min drive so it's not really near by.

I've done a dyno at ART in Buda but tune it myself. The only shop in Austin that tuned ls motors closed I think.

ART moved to colorado and yes I do believe reckart closed as well.

I've heard autotek does good work but don't have any first hand or know anyone with first hand experience from them.

I'd drive an hour to lethal performance in SA, they'll take care of you.

Id go henderson. My car is almost done and i will be taking my car to corey @ Henderson performance.

Another shop to look into is fuel injection specialties.

That's a nope then. You're going to have to go to SA or Houston. If you're tuning a 2000 SS the ECU is VERY VERY easy to tune if you have a wideband.

Autotek in south austin I know has a dyno. Few people know have taken there LSX toys there to get tuned and dyno'd.

And Reckart didn't close. It was sold to the Aikmans and they have Brian's former dyno. Shop never closed, just changed hands. That dude is full of accurate information. lol
