I quit using exhaust shops 30 yrs ago because of poor quality work. Since then, I've installed premade kits that I was able to bolt and clamp up getting all of the pipes and mufflers just right.
Current project: I've got a crate, LS376/480 swapped 1991 Fox body Mustang. All of the swap components including the headers are Holley/Hooker.
I've installed all Maximum Motorsports suspension components under the car including a panhard bar and torque arm. Because of the LS swap and the panhard bar, buying a complete header to tailpipe premade exhaust kit is impossible.
I've purchased this header to turndown kit from Holley: HOOKER BLACKHEART TURNDOWN CAT-BACK EXHAUST SYSTEM - LS AND COYOTE ENGINE SWAP
I know the Hooker exhaust kit will fit with slight massaging near the front of my torque arm. However, there is no way that I'm driving around with turndowns permanently! Maximum Motorsports has told me what tailpipe kits will and will not fit panhard bar equipped cars. Flowmaster and Pypes are two brands of Foxbody tailpipes that are known to fit. Obviously it's going to take some work to connect them up to my Hooker turndown system.
Tell me of an exhaust shop that can weld stainless pipes and do a high quality job for someone who is **** about things like I am.

I posted this in early February of this year and I'm bringing it to the top in hopes that someone may know of a good exhaust shop in the Houston area.
Go see Gustavo Hernandez and his shop Xtreme Performance Xhaust. They would be my first choice for this type of work.
Then Ace Performance Exhaust in "Pasadena" has a good reputation. They did my basic Foxbody Mustang exhaust systems. It was basically bolt in though.

Xtreme has a good reputation. If you're still in need, I had EXCELLENT results with Ripley's putting on my 3" duals including fixing a bent pipe, adding cats, and shoehorning bigger mufflers. They can build total custom too. Call Cord or Tommy and tell them Jason with the Navy SS sent you.

383 and jmilz, both of you recommend Xtreme. Thank you! Thank you for that recommendation. I just knew there had to be a reliable, custom exhaust place or two in the huge city of Houston. Here is their website: Xtreme Performance Xhaust
jmilz, I found Ripley's webite: Ripley's Total Car Care
Ripley is a good bit closer to where I live but I'd be happy to let either one of those shops work on my Fox coupe's tailpipes.

Oh wow! NSSANE, that is really, really nice work! I'm still wanting exhaust work done.
My car has been down for the last month because of a leaking heater core and then the subsequent remove and replace work. The dash is back in and I hope to have the car back on the road this weekend. While everything was out,

Ok. I'll definitely keep you in mind.
The Hooker turndown system that I linked in my original post is on my car. With a slight amount of massaging, I was able to get it to fit perfectly with my Maximum Motorsports torque arm. The system is way too loud with tons of drone because of the turndowns. I have a pair of Pypes 3" stainless steel tailpipes that I'd like to mate up to the Holley turndown system. Honestly, I think those "race mufflers" that come in the Hooker Blackheart Turndown Exhaust kit are going to be too loud even with tailpipes. I may need to find a quieter pair of mufflers.
