I say they should get rid of it! The ones who passed the law should be kicked in the face.

If they would just reduce the rate to $35 or less to get you off of the freeway, that would be better.

Or, just enforce this during peak traffic hours

And, not allowing people to change their tire is BS. If they are on a normal sized shoulder, they shouldn't be messed with.

Another thought I had yesterday. I saw a cop stopped on the shoulder shooting radar. More people hit the brakes seeing that cop than they would have if someone were changing a tire. Shouldn't that be considered slowing down traffic too? Shouldn't cops get towed away?

Its all BS.

Yeah that it saves lives bullshit is what they use to pass every BS law they want. It's really just another way of generating money. Like when they said we put x thousands of officers on the street in the name of saftey and keeping you safe at home and we didn't raise your taxes. They think we are to stupid to realize that they did put them on the street yeah to write more tickets to pay for the cops saleries and generate more revenue for the city. Now how are these cops protecting us when they are writing us tickets? If they were really concerned with protecting the public they would have them patroling the high crime areas etc... JMO

Pretty sad when the state rep even thinks the new program blows HAHA

It could be refined to work.

-if you are blocking a lane, you must be towed immediately.
-if you are on a wide shoulder, you can opt to be towed.
-wreckers could help block behind people changing a tire. Keep the lights flashing. Maybe even offer to change their tire for them for a small fee.
-abandoned cars should be towed.
