Does it sound familiar? Maybe someone was listening to the all the loyal 101 listeners when Clear Channel took it off the air....... Well at least we have a rock station back in Houston...........

yeah i know, its not like i could listen to it for longer than 5 minutes before someone comes and changes it. From what i have heard of 97.5 i like it, but i dont really listen to the radio in my car.

I'm so happy that a station like this is back. I love both the classic rock stuff (The Who, Zeppelin, Stones, Hendrix) but I dig the new stuff, too. They are really playing a good mix. About friggin' time!!!!
It's funny, I seriously started looking into XM radio, and, while this new station hasn't stopped that, at least I can still listen to local radio.

It's great how the tower is apparently in La Porte (east side of Houston, so a lot closer to Beaumont) instead of way far into Houston like 101's tower must be; I was amazed at how great the reception is here compared to 101 which comes and goes a lot.
