Default HRP traction issues

Tonight (2-4-05) at HRP was horrible. My first pass was a 14.5 on a 2.7 sixty foot. My best pass of the night was still a dissapointing 12.989 with a 1.9 sixty foot. My previous best time was a 12.64 with a 1.74 sixty foot about a year ago before the headers and cut out. I saw WRX's out there spinning and even the non-street legal cars with the big fat slicks were spinning. Anyone else out there tonight have similar issues?

Track was good enough to put my car on the rear bumper.

Track was good enough to set a new 10.5" tire world record on the first pass off the trailer, couldn't have been that bad.

depends on what tires you are running on. If you are showing up on street tires, nobody is really going to hear your complaints

I was on my nittos. I roasted them pretty good but only cut a high 1.9 sixty foot. That sucks compared to my previous 1.74 sixty foot. Time for some MT Et Streets maybe?

Didn't hook as good as I wanted to, especially later in the evening, but still enough to run a good time.

I hooked pretty good on the first 4 runs 1.67, 1.62, 1.62, 1.63 but I blew the tires off on the last run 1.91. All on MT DR's. All the "fast" cars were running the right lane all day.

So was it the track prep that was causing my sixty foot times to suck, or should I be conserned with my cars performance???
