I am selling the engine from Dave Ducote's 1994 Firebird Formula/Trans-AM. It was the Fastest injected Lt1 in the country. This car was full weighted and was never gutted. This car was on the cover of GM High Tech performance. It made aver 1100 rwhp with a D1 procharger. It ran a 9.18 in the 1/4 and im sorry but i dont remember the mph. Paterson automotive built the engine and Mike Sovie did the heads. The engine is a 385 lt4 stroker with AFR heads. It comes with callies crank, oliver rods, wiesco fully coated pistons, fully race ported afr heads, ported lt4 intake, 62mm throttle body and custom 3 step headers. DFI kit and laptop, 96lb injectors. Engine plates, canton 7qt oil pan. callies billit splayed maincaps. Custom morosso sheet metal valve covers. Jessel shaft mount rockers. Accell injector controller. 2 extra oliver rods.. extra bearings.. all brand new as well.
The engine was rebuilt with all new parts about 2 years... ago by patterson automotive. Dave Ducote's father was with Enron when it went under and didnt have the money to continue racing. I picked up the motor and have yet to use it. It is still moist with oil and have never been in a car. I turn the motor over by hand about once a month. It sits in my shop on the engine stand. I would rather see it get used than let it sit here any more.
Madman did alot of work on the car.. so im sure you could get more specific specs from him. Since i am missing slot of specific information i wont be asking alot, but i am firm on the price right now. $5000.00
Here is a larger lists of pics... more pics of the engine in the car are at madmans website.

Wow, never thought I would ever hear about that car or any thing from it again, very nice, that car hauled ***. Who owns it now, they sold it a while back to some one, I wan to say TNT or NX but not quite sure. Any case that motor has a lot of potential in the right set up

I'm not sure who it was that bought the car itself. I knew dave and he let me get the motor. I'm trying to come up with some more secific specs on everything as we speak. Everything is brand spaking new and has never been cranked up since the new build. I havent been able to get the money to put it in a car the way it should be and dont want to let it go to waist. I just figured someone here, might be able to make it live again.

The compression is 10.5 to 1. I ran 22lbs of boost on it. I have the cam card still and can tell you anything you need to know on the motor. I had $4000.00 in the block work alone. The headers would cost $1300.00 to duplicated. Everything on the motor is Polydyn coated.
