Duramax owners inside Who all here drives a HD Silverado with a Duramax/Allison combo? I just picked up a 2005 2500HD LT 4x4 Duramax a few weeks ago. These trucks are awesome!
What mods if any have you guys done to your trucks?
I just had a Clifford RSX 3.5 alarm installed, now on to suspension and more power.

Nice, what fuel milage are you getting? My LLY is at 16.7 right now with 1500 miles bone stock. It gets better almost every day I drive it though so we will see where it stops. Have you done anything to yours?
I have a Early 04 with the LB7 in it. Dont let people tell ya you cant run over 95hp without hurting anything.. I will tell ya this though.. 125hp Edge.. 95hp Powerpup... runs good.. really good!

and i love it ..this thing pulls like a ****.. I have a 03 CC Dually with the Predator on the 85 setting & everyone that has ridden in it is suprised at how fast my 'short bus' is! I'd love to do more to it but I think I'm going to get rid of it....haven't had it long but I need to reduce bills & get my but back to school....not getting any younger. Maybe going to Iraq....haven't decided yet.

Yeah....been doing a whole lotta nothing lately....well, working, sitting in suck **** traffic & veggin on the couch.
See you sold the Bird.....been out of the loop & off the forums. I don't have internet at work & after sitting in front of a pc for 10 hours a day, the last thing I want to do is sit in front of one at home. Been loggin hours on the the 61" DLP & the ol Xbox, lol. I need to get my lazy tail out & get my fuel pump in so I can pill up some & go to the track....anyhow, we need to get together, you still need to get some music....

Frank Kent GMC in Ft. Worth has great deals on em. I had an 04 C/C, 4 X 4, loaded, with aftermarket Boyd's on it as my demo/sponsor vehicle last year...I had it at the shootout if you were there. When I took it back, I think they sold it for around 33 or 34....it only had 4100 miles on it.

There's lots of tech info there....I had most of my answers in short order by searching & it seems to be a cool community like this one. Check them out. They also have classified ads too so you can pick up stuff used at cheaper prices.
