Default couple first mod questions

I installed a small cam (Comp Cams XR265HR 212/218 duration split at .050, a .522/.529 lift 114- lobe) lid, jet hot lt's, cat'ed y pipe and magnaflow cat back. Everything else is stock on a 2000 TA a4. First question how long should I go before first oil change? Secondly is the stock tune fine for this setup or should I get a new tune done on it? Thanks in advance for any answers.

That cam is small enough that you really don't need a tune, the stock tune should work just fine.

Would this be the cam 54-412-11? If so how is the cam notice any gains with it? Which springs did you use?

Its the 54-424-11. It has seat of the pants gain but then again it went from all stock with a bad plug wire to what it is now. I was hoping for 340 rwhp.

yeah with an a4 with cam and headers I would definitely recommend a tune. Even if u just had the LT's I would reccomend a tune to get the a/f right and correct any problems you would incur with the o2's.
Good luck with it
