Default Why not to drink and drive

On 288 last night going to 45 to drop some freinds off at U of H, we went out to eat off Kirby. Well comming around the curve I see the car in front of me swerve hard as hell and hit the brakes, then I see a car spun out blocking two lanes, I hit the brakes, to not hit the guy in front of me , then theres some jack *** in my blind spot so I punch it to clear him and swerve hard as hell, cant go left or I'll hit him for sure, I swerve right HARD clearing both the spun out car and the guy next to me, thank god I didnt roll over because I was in the Blazer. If I had been drinking I honestly dont think I could have reacted fast enough, because all this happened in maybe just a matter of seconds. Just some thing to think about because I have had to dodge some close calls but usally in the rain, never on a nice clear night when theres few cars on the road.

Drinking and driving is for dumb idiots who have no regard for anyone's safety.

its too bad that not everyone takes this seriously. Even one drink will impair your judgement, even if you can't feel it.

Glad you made it ok. Good driving.

About 1 month ago I was on my Harley when this drunk ******* in a pickup passed me on the shoulder and came really close to me. At the next light the dumb *** passed out at the wheel and woke up after the green light was finished. I stayed behind him because there was no way I wanted to be infront of him again. Two lights down he rear ended a suburban with some old folks in it. What a dumb ***. I didnt stop at the accident right away but gave it some time until the cops got back there and gave them my info if they needed a witness.

Drunk drivers suck! They give tipsy drivers a bad name.

Oh yea. Didnt stop at the accident because I knew everyone was ok and didnt want to sit on the shoulder for an hour in the hot sun waiting on the cops.

That is putting it nicely. I have ZERO tolerance for drunk drivers. I call them in to the cops everytime I come across one. I follow them and lead the cops right to them.

Only drink while driving, and park the car in your garage when your drunk.

I have no respect for people that drink and drive. I get called to way to many car accidents caused by drunk drivers. I can't remember how many DOA's I've run because somebody decided to get drunk and drive home.

see neil, these blazers can handle if they need to - they just don't feel like it
Also, reasons like that are why I will never drive anything slower than our blazers (not that they are especially quick).

Glad you avoided the accident.

I know my blazer doesn't feel nearly as bad as it once did. I think I'm getting used to it - damn I need to get the pickup or atleast the vette out and drive them.
