Density altitude was around +1000 ft., track prep was pretty good, not the best, but good. I ran the 1.41 after they redid the track and about 5 cars laid down some rubber. The car is definately gonna roll come winter time. All in all, I'm very happy with the new setup and the times its putting out. With the better weather, its only gonna get faster. Too bad I wasn't making clean passes last Friday.

Also, earlier today, raise the front end up a bit, then played with the shocks at the track, and it was pulling the wheels between 12-20 inches and carrying them probably a good 40 ft. What an incredible feeling! Everything went so smooth tonigt. If the cold front moves in next weekend, I'll be there again.

Thanks guys. I had a blast last night and for those of you that were there, I didn't tell the announcer all those things, he added way more than what I said, but I'm sure you knew that already.

I shouldn't have a problem hooking in the winter if they keep up with the preparation and the track stays hot. There were people breaking down, having issues, and even a wreck last night which caused delays between races which let the track cool off.

One thing I can't get over is the wheels up. Its always popped them up a bit, but not like last night and definately not carrying them.

Nice runs bro! Wish I could have been out there to see the car run. Now its time to shoot for the cam only record! You got to show me the videos of the car carrying the wheels.

I have 3-4 runs on video that I recorded through miniDV, I'm not sure if I can transfer them to my memory stick, then load them to my computer. My camcorder has a digital camera that will do videos too, but I don't know if you have to initially record a video with the memory stick as oppose from tape then converting it over.

I dunno. I was searching through the index, but couldn't find anything. Stephanie with a pewter ZO6 at the track last night said she had a video that she was gonna email me, but haven't gotten it yet.

Jeremy,

Let me know the next time you go out and we will get together for a cam only shootout. Congrats on the times. Both of our cars will haul *** come winter.

My car should be finished with my next 3 bolt ons before next friday and I should have my new dyno numbers then. I hope to add another 10 or so with my recent changes.

Shoot me a PM next time and we will meet up just for giggles.

Joe

The Houston Cam-only shootout....looks very close. 10.52 vs. 10.54

That would be sweet to watch. Congrats on the new times!

If the weather last night was as good as last Friday/Saturday, I would of dipped into the 10.40s. I think Joe's car is faster, just needs a little more traction. Car definately rolls out hard.

Joe, I'll post up when I'm going again. Hopefully this weekend if the front comes through. I can't think of anything to add to my car for my HP. Only other thing I could do is remove more weight.
