Finally: TECH VS TEXAS
I have been waiting for this game since day one. I am a Tech fan and they are known to pull of shockers (just ask Cal), but can they upset the Longhorns in thier own back yard? What do you think?

It'll be real real tough to win against UT. If it was in Lubbock, I'd say the game could go either way. I just hope we play them close and maybe get away with one. Hopefully I'll be there for the game too.

it will be one of the blowouts of the year, i promise that. Now, a team tech will have a hay day on is aTm, there passing game is going to wreck'em.
our D is solid.. great secondary, one of the top in the nation, solid D-line. Our O-line is excellent, offering great passing oppourtnities and of course we can run the ball.

Tech is a decent team and will absolutely destroy a$m, BUT they can't stay on the field with Texas. This is the best Texas team of all-time. Longhorns in a blow out!

Tech fans should look forward to this game about as much as they do their first physical after turning 30... and for the same reason... they're getting ready to take it in the ***.

these texas teams all have a funny way with each other though. it seems that, at least in the past, any team could win on any given saturday.
ive been looking at the schedules for the top teams in the land, and its actually kind of interesting. UT, USC, VT, ALA, GA, ect. all have at least a half decent chance of losing at least one remaining game. not likely, but possible. it would make for a very hairy bowl selection process if all the top teams had a loss. again i say, not likely but it would be an awesome occurence.
here are the long shots:
USC could lose to UCLA
UT could lose to TECH, OKST, or A&M(all seem extremely unlikely)
and more likely:
VT could lose to VA, and i think they will lose to MIA
UGA will lose to either FLA or AUB
ALA will lose to two of the three TEN, LSU, AUB
and all of this would leave the entire top 10 open to interpretation.
and i know that im crazy

3-4 set, linebackers stay home, play smart zone coverage and tech is finished. Don't worry about rushing the passer, for a 95% passing offensive the odds are against you to go for the sack, if the backers give a 5-10 yard cushion you could see some INTs for sure... They did it a few years ago and won big then abandoned it... dunno why...

Interesting game for sure...with it being in Austin I would have to say UT is going to win...
But as a betting man I'd have to take the points and go with Tech...
I don't think Texas is going to blow them out...win by 14 the most....
