Default Gas Bill?!

Mine went from an average of 25-30 to 145 bucks. I was shocked to see this, anyone else in the same boat?

No clue man, i dont have to pay anything but electricity and i've had a shocker before...Used to 60-80 e-bills and had one come in over summer when i wasn't even living there (i was in denton) that was over 130!

Good luck figuring out what the deal it.

My highest electric bill wasn't even in the winter! It was over 100 in the middle of summer without me there and without the a/c on.

I had a 166 buck electric bill in my aparment.
under 800 square feet and a 166 bucks??? WTF?
Its never 'toasty' just barely comfortable.

but on gas, it went up huge around the katrina time, and is still up there.

Mine this month went up to $90 from an average of $20-$25. The only difference we made was we turned up the water heater just a little bit, but damn definitely doesn't seem like that big of a difference.

Our gas bill was $221 but since we started the annual averaging it only cost us $89. I have had $300 gas bills in previous winters prior to this crazy rate hike. Remember those of us in North Texas have seen some mid-teen temperatures too this winter.

Mine jumped, but that was because Centerpoint charged me 3 $70 deposits out of the blue... I called and asked about it and they said it "was a glitch in the computer".
