Now it's the Jerry Reynolds auto advice show. They have a variety of callers and used to have guest hosts all the time. Jerry owns the Prestige dealers in the area.

Default sucks

this is the second time i've been screwed with having my car tuned. first it was with AMS and now fastech. now that i think about it, doesn't feel like fastech even tuned my car. damn, its getting harder to find a tuner without being burned. yeah, so much for the "lifetime tune".

Technically, unless the deal changed in the last ownership change, Sean was just an employee. The owner of the S-corp, Fastech, could be sued though.

I thought they ended up buying out there portion of the business but retained the name, that is why he was gonna start another shop with a new name cause the old owners still had the rights to it?

that's what a lot of shops do, they have a "silent" partner that for some reason is always nearly impossible to get ahold of when something like this happens that way the person that is at fault never gets in trouble. this is a fukt up situation and i'm glad i'm nowhere near this guy's business so there's no chance of me getting screwed by that criminal.

It doesn't matter about the name or business. The only thing that matters is that he screwed us all and especially the people that still have or had (cause they are gone)cars there and didn't bother telling them or even finishing a job. That is bad for him cause now it doesn't matter where he goes from here, nobody is going to take there car to him. I know am going to go to a different shop.

Things have said that before and he's closed up before, though this seems like its a pretty bad deal, since peoples cars and parts are missing.
I hope for the best of everyone involved, hopefully everyone gets their cars and parts back, and moneys, etc. Hopefull Sean will get his act/stuff together and shed a little light on the situation for those involved, be it publically, or privately.

Its going to suck explaining to customers that I took there and told the tune was guaranteed, that they are out of luck.

Sure, soon as he ante's up 3k to pay for his tuning software, then another 3k to buy it again, he'll be back in the saddle with nut-swingers on tow and in line.

Kumar, the landlord is Rick McCommas (not sure about the spelling).....his personal office is on the other side of the street down about 2 blocks from Fastech.

I know Sean since the old Fastech days in 2000 and this is pretty bad.
But do you remember Dynotech? Before it was in Garland?

I learned a long time ago that friends shouldn't do business with friends. Friends (on both sides) expect too much of the other.

If anyone that still has thier car their needs help getting it out let me know. So you don't have to pay a high *** wrecker bill you pay me a little for my gas and we can use my trailer. I also have a winch if its not running. I can do it any time on Sunday.

I've been in a similar situation when I was a kid. I was paying rent to my mom's boyfreind so we could split a small warehouse in Garland. I had 4 cars in there but I was living out in West TX running a Super Shops store. I get a call on a Thursday from the landlord that I was 3 months behind in rent and if I didn't have the cars gone the next day they would be towed. The piece of **** had been pocketing my payments.
