Yea that was money for a tune for "Life" that was pissed down the drain. Last dollar that Sean or Fastech will see. I hate people that allow their own incompetence to harm others....

 

I dunno.
But as someone that tunes his own car, if a shop tried to sell me a "tune for life", I'd bust out dying laughing for soooooooo many reasons.
The way us silly hardcore guys are changing a set up, how can a shop owner offer a "tune for life" unless he adds dyno time or fee.......or a stipulation on mods....or charges one heck of a fee.......or doesn't plan to be in business all that long.

the day we were there we say the last two cars get pushed out. a pewter C5 and a Black Z with black motorsports. the car geting a "rebuild" mentioned earlier was my car
i THINK we meet the landlord that day. he let sean in the building. does anyone have a # for the landlord? if someone could go buy the building it was on the door. i REALLY could use getting ahold of him..

I rubbed some dirt off that nasty thing last night
just so happened to rub the dirt off in the shape of a SQR logo.

 

Well I cant get a hold of Sean to get any of my parts. I was supposed to call him this week about them and Sean changed his cell phone number without notifying me. Ive "obtained" his new number from a friend and left him a message. No response so far.

Tommorrow, Im going to leave a note at his apartment with a list of missing parts and that I might have to take other action if I dont have them soon. I also emailed Sean's silent partner/funder about the missing parts. I dont know what else to do.

If they dont get back to me soon, Im going to have to file some sort of official report.

 

Damn that figures. Now it makes me want to go back and check everything he installed on my truck. Any suggestions on someone who knows how to tune trucks? I have my own LS1 edit that I still need to learn how to use.

I could care less bout a life time tune. I never got a tune though. so i'm out the money for that. plus parts

 

 

I guess he is in hiding. He hasn't logged onto this site since Dec 12th.

 

I just now got an email from the owner saying he has no interest in any of Fastech's assets and to give him a call on his cell phone. I am going to call him and update u guys.

 

Update for a few of yall that have parts, etc involved.
Sean's posted on LS2 his cell #, and is taking calls.

This sucks to hear because Sean always bent over backwards to help me out. Countless times I've been at any of his shops at 1 or 2 in the morning while he's trying to get the tuning right on my car. This just doesn't seem like something he'd do.

Sean called me today!
and as usually and as promised he is making everything right.

it sounds like the guy is going threw some very tough times. but hes not throwing in the towel, hes still gonna make everything right. sean has always been great to me and my car, and even in this disaster he is still doing the same. and i just wanted to let him know that even with all these people bashing and speculating about stuff, that i really appreciate what hes done for me over the years and really respect him now for still going above and beyond to make things right, and keep that amazing customer service hes been famous for.

well he did it, and he's done it before. what amazes me is that things like this have happened before and people keep going back after it has already proven to be an unsuccessful situation. i hope that doesn't happen again, hopefully everyone has learned from this experience.
