Default Can I get some opinions? Anyone from Houston?

Just bought this car off E-Bay. Anyone from Houston know this dealership? Car even? Did I just get screwed? It seems like a killer deal which just scares me more. Carfax is clean and NADA is $17000 retail and I paid $12900. Its my first time buying a car off E-Bay and its nerve racking to say the least. Not to mention that today is Friday the 13th and the VIN has a 666 in it. Honest opinions please.

Looks very clean, was it repainted? Carfax's can invoke a false sense of security, I'd carefully look everything over or have a mechanic do it. Is it possible to get in touch with the former owner? I think you paid a fair price for a nice car and as long as your happy with it, what the hell.

Thats exactly where I got my car from. They were very curteous and shipping was fast and the car got here better than described in the ad and over the phone. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to buy an automobile.

I hope this helped ease your mind.

A dealer could buy that car for anywhere from $10 - $12K. More than likely they did alright and you did alright. That is about the going rate in many places right now.

I've seen some of their cars and they seem to be clean and in good shape. If you'd like to have them bring it by the shop, I'll look it over for you at no charge before you send them any money.

my guess is that it's been hit before and repaired. not really a bad thing. i found out my car was hit before, after i bought it. i was wondering why it was such a good deal.

but the car's been good so far. 2000 t/a m6, ran a 13.1 stock.

i suggest getting some subframe connectors installed asap.

Why would you say that? There's nothing obvious out of place.

I appreciate the offer, I'm heading there first thing in the morning to pick it up. Are you near by them? If so I'll see if I can set it up. I should make it to Houston about 1PM tomorrow.

Subframe Connectors because the car's been hit? I know its not absolute but CarFax has no accidents. EGR looks like its been removed. That looks like a LS6 intake?

I don't know why he's saying that. I see no signs it's been hit.

LS6 intake will not have EGR. It's an LS1 intake.

that is an ls1 intake it also has a lid, and no it doesnt have any egr stuff on it and if you look closer to the left it looks like it has headers hints why you got such a good deal most cars that have signs of being ragged on will sell under retail. My guess is that it has been ragged on but at 60,000 plus miles it's barley broken in...
