Default WS6 Formula goes 15.749 at HRP

So, was my first time out at the track since I bought the car. Got to the park, watched a couple friends swap tires, got in the staging lanes and waited for a while.

Finally was my turn to run, I was a little nervous. This was how the run went.

R/T .420
60 2.170
1/8 9.257 @ 72.47 mph
1/4 15.749 @ 65.48 mph

Clutch/slave cylinder went out on me and the clutch stayed on the floor. No pressure in the clutch at all, goes straight to the floor and stays there.

Looks like tomorrow, new clutch and slave go in.

Just thought I'd share that with you guys. Was a good time regardless, met some cool guys with LS1's. Also, props to Bryan (getdrugtoday) for giving me a call and making sure I had a way home before he left. I appreciate it.

Good to see you made it home. You need an alignment tool for the clutch that i didnt have... i lost it domewhere, but you'll love the clutch.. They say give it 500 miles to break it in, but i usual do it a little diffrent

If your cluctch sticks to the floor when you are driving hard, and does not when you are just cruising, you may want to check and make sure your hyd cable for your clutch is not near the header/manifold. If it is, this could cause your fluid to heat up and not function properly.

I read that on here, later on when I tear into the car, Im gonna be looking to re-route the cable somehow, or at least wrap it with something to deter some of the heat. Thanks for the input.

I was planning on putting an adjustable master in when I replaced everything else, but I was also planning on waiting a few more weeks before I did it. I amm definately going to replace it though, i want to get it all swapped out so I dont have to worry about it in a month or two...thanks for the input.

Ya, we made it home between 2:15 and 2:20. Was a long night. Hopefully we'll get the car up and running today.

And I think I'll pass on the run with the liberty, my mom has a 4 cylinder Altima and I think I could set something up for Brandy.
